若是是房客或是之前有預訂,這邊都有一些保留席,不用傻傻的在那邊和一群人排。

in the lobby of the hotel. So the lobby can get quite noisy and busy at times. You could get a seat without a reservation. But you'd have to line up for some time. If you're a guest at the hotel or have made a reservation, there are always seats reserved and you won't need to queue.

The price range for afternoon tea per person here is about 360 - 400+ HKD. Seems ok for a hotel of its status and reputation.

Tea served in silver tea pots and the colours of the plates, cups,etc. are all somewhat traditional.

Our two-person afternoon tea set. We could also select 2 kinds of tea from the menu. I had the Peninsula Afternoon Tea (what a name).

The dessert on the top plate. caramel and chocolate macarons, matchca raisin cake, pineapple lemon tart, etc.
第二層是司康,雖然還不錯但我不太喜歡葡萄乾很甜所以若有原味的會更好。
The English scones - pretty good but I personally don't really like raisins so would be better to have some plain ones.
最下面的一層是鹹的三明治,大多是火腿小黃瓜和鮭魚這類的常客. 整體來說我是覺得食物 ok only. 也沒有說好吃到哪裏,而且有一些還真的是有些太甜..
The bottom tier is the savoury items - the standard things like sandwich with ham, cucumber, salmon, etc. and a small quiche. In general I think the afternoon tea here is just so-so. Some sweet ones are a bit too sweet too.
我們去時還一直有 live 的古典樂團在大廳的 balcony 演奏,回音還滿大的,讓整個大廳除了人多的熱鬧外,音樂也很熱鬧。這是最後上的巧克力,巧克力的 texture 是不錯但是太甜了...
There are always live performance here in the lobby and the echo and amplifier effect can be a bit overwelming but it makes the place sound pretty busy. This is a small chocolate truffle at the end. The texture was good but again.. too sweet.
